自作3号機 AMD Opteron 248 2.2GHz Dual, メモリ 4GB, RAID5 3TB

2005年4月制作の LinuxLinux カーネルを用いたオペレーティングシステム 64bit Dual AMD Opteron マシン。

当時は 64bit の Linux OS で最新の技術をガンガン試すために Fedora Core 3 を導入した。
その後、Fedora Core 4, 5, 6、Fedora 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 とアップグレードし現在に至る。

実はメモリ速度はスペックダウン。体感速度は変わらないが容量が倍になる分の恩恵の方が大きい。
ディスク回りはRAID5化で信頼性重視。IOPが無いタイプなのでCPUに負荷は掛かる。
